Nougat cookies recipe

An easy and foolproof recipe that will delight both kids and adults alike!

Ingredients:

50g of Montélimar nougat from Maison Val Roubion

120g of flour

1/2 sachet of baking powder

100g of semi-salted butter (at room temperature)

50g of brown sugar

1 egg yolk

100g of chocolate chips

Serves: 4

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Baking time: 8 to 12 minutes

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Crush the nougat. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, use a fork to soften the butter into a creamy consistency. Add the brown sugar and egg yolk to the flour mixture. Pour in the chocolate chips and crushed nougat, and mix everything together with the butter until you form a dough.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place small scoops of the dough onto the sheet and flatten them slightly with a wet teaspoon.

Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, depending on the size of the cookies. Let the cookies cool before serving.
