Ingredients:
- 2 puff pastry sheets
- 125g of softened butter
- 125g of granulated sugar
- 125g of almond flour
- 2 eggs + 1 egg yolk for glazing
- 100g of soft Montélimar nougat from Maison Val Roubion
- 1 fève (a small charm or bean)
- Powdered sugar (optional, for decoration)

- Cooking time: 25 to 30 minutes
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar until you achieve a creamy texture.
Add the almond flour and mix well.
Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Gently fold in the nougat pieces into the mixture.
Place one puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Spread the nougat mixture over the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
Insert the fève into the mixture.
Cover with the second puff pastry sheet. Press the edges to seal them.
Brush the top of the galette with the egg yolk using a pastry brush.
Using the tip of a knife, create decorative patterns on the surface of the galette.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the galette is golden brown.
Once baked, let it cool before optionally dusting with powdered sugar for decoration.
